UHS is offering centralised admissions to Level II Diploma programs and MCPS training in selected clinical and basic specialities, under the policy of the Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education (SHC&ME) Department, Government of Punjab. (All seats are in public sector institutions of Punjab and are subject to approval by PMDC for Diplomas and CPSP for MCPS, where applicable.)
Who Is Eligible?
- MBBS from a PMDC-recognised medical college (BDS for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery).
- Valid, permanent PMDC registration at the time of application.
- Service Requirements:
- Regular employee of SHC&ME Department or Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab.
- Minimum two years of regular government service completed.
- For Health & Population Department doctors, mandatory peripheral service or other notified conditions for training must be fulfilled.
How Merit Is Calculated?
- MBBS/BDS aggregate: up to 30 marks (calculated from all professional examinations).
- Entrance test score: up to 50 marks (out of 100 MCQs). (compulsory for all applicants) Format: 100 MCQs, 2 hours duration, no negative marking. Outline/syllabus will be available on the UHS website
- Government service experience: up to 10 marks (2 marks for each completed year of service).
- Experience in relevant speciality: up to 10 marks (2 marks per completed year in that speciality).
Applications
- All applications must be submitted online; manual or postal submissions are not accepted.
- Apply only via UHS centralized portal: portals.uhs.edu.pk. or https://portals.uhs.edu.pk/diploma-mcps/login
- Preferences: Choose and rank preferred institutions where seats are available; only opted institutions will be considered. Preferences remain editable till closing date; then order is locked.
- Online applications open: 08 December 2025 (from 09:00 am).
- Online applications close: 22 December 2025 (by 05:00 pm).
- Roll number slips will be available starting from 24 December 2025 on the UHS website.
- Entrance test: 28 December 2025.
- First merit list: 02 January 2026.
- Second merit list: 09 January 2026.
- Third Merit List: January 16, 2026.
- All merit and selection lists are displayed online only; no individual letters are issued.
