Eligibility and Duration
- Ph.D. (3 years): 18 years of education (MBBS for Ph.D. in Basic Medical Sciences, and M.Phil./Master/FCPS or equivalent in relevant subject recognized by HEC/concerned federal regulatory authority); minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) or first division. Admission test: 60 percentile in GRE subject test or minimum 70% in the UHS admission test.
- M.Phil. / Master in Public Health (2 years): MBBS for M.Phil. in Medical Sciences, BDS for M.Phil. in Dental Sciences; BSc (Hons.) or MSc in relevant subject for M.Phil. Medical Laboratory Sciences. Minimum 60% marks in the admission test.
- MSN (2 years): 4 years Generic BSc Nursing or 2 years Post RN Nursing or equivalent recognized by PNC.
- MHPE (2.5 years): MBBS/BDS degree.
- Interview is required for all programs. Programs are full time; students may not undertake any employment until completion.
Admission Test
- Ph.D., M.Phil., MPH and M.S. Nursing tests: Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM (100 MCQs, 2 hours)
- MHPE test: Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 02:00 PM (100 MCQs, 2 hours)
How to Apply
- Apply through the UHS online admission portal for postgraduate programs at www.uhs.edu.pk.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (max 2 MB each), submit the application and print the application and bank challan.
- Deposit the non-refundable admission fee of Rs. 5,000 at any Bank of Punjab branch or via 1Bill online banking.
- No hard copy is required. In-service candidates must submit an NOC.
