- The application rejection list was published, and the Grievances Committee for Level-III Induction in July 2024 was scheduled on Thursday, June 13, 2024, and Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM at King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore. Applicants were instructed to visit with their original documents to resolve objections to their applications.
- The First Gazette for the June/July 2024 Induction was issued on June 21, 2024.
- In case of any grievances regarding merit in the gazette, candidates were allowed to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee between June 26 and June 28, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- The Gazette was updated on June 28, 29, July 3, and July 6, 2024.
- The First Merit List for the Classical June/July 2024 induction was uploaded on July 8, 2024, and candidates were required to provide online consent by July 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The duplication list from the first merit list included 217 candidates selected for 476 seats, leaving 259 seats available for the second list. The remaining candidates were upgraded according to their preferences.
- The Second Merit List was uploaded on July 11, 2024, and candidates were instructed to provide consent by July 11, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The duplication list from the second merit list included 134 candidates selected for 274 seats, comprising 49 FCPS, 1 FCPS Dentistry, 106 MD, 1 MDS, and 117 MS. This left 140 seats available for the third list, with upgrades based on preferences.
- The Third Merit List was initially displayed on July 12, 2024, but it was removed, and the second list was re-uploaded. The consent deadline for the second list was extended to July 13, 2024, at 11:59 AM. The third merit list was re-displayed on July 14, 2024, and candidates had to provide consent by July 15, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The duplication list from the third merit list included 69 candidates selected for 140 seats, comprising 31 FCPS, 54 MD, and 55 MS, leaving 71 seats available for the fourth list.
- The Fourth Merit List was displayed on July 15, 2024, and candidates were instructed to provide consent by July 19, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The duplication list from the fourth merit list included 41 candidates selected for 82 seats, comprising 9 FCPS, 35 MD, and 38 MS, leaving 41 seats available for the fifth list.
- The Fifth Merit List was displayed on July 21, 2024, and candidates were required to provide consent by July 22, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The fifth list included 28 candidates selected for 57 seats, comprising 16 FCPS, 18 MD, and 23 MS. As a result, 29 seats remained vacant, and since this was the final list, these seats were wasted. Additional vacancies occurred due to candidates in the final list not providing consent.
- For regular employees of PSHD/SHMED, if they were selected and consented to participate, it was mandatory to obtain relieving orders, either on deputation or EOL, as no training joining orders were issued without them. Contract, ad-hoc, locum, or other arrangement employees were required to have their resignations approved and a notification issued for the training order to be issued. The deadline for joining and commencing training was July 30, 2024. Public sector employees were required to provide an NOC for joining the training and an agreement not to draw both salary and stipend.
