Fazaia Postgraduate Medical Institute Islamabad (FPGMI) is offering seats for induction of civilian postgraduate trainees for FCPS-II training, session July 2026, at PAF Hospital Islamabad.
Specialties and eligibility
- FCPS-I in relevant specialty: Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, ENT, General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynae & Obs, Ophthalmology, Paeds, Radiology, Psychiatry, Haematology
- Neurosurgery: 1 year FCPS-II training in General Surgery
- Urology: 2 years FCPS-II training in General Surgery
- Cardiology, Dermatology, Nephrology: 2 years FCPS-II training in General Medicine
- Cardiothoracic Anesthesia: Post IMM with 2 years training in General Anesthesia or FCPS-II Anesthesia
- Electrophysiology: FCPS-II Cardiology
- Gastroenterology: FCPS-II General Medicine
- Glaucoma: FCPS-II Ophthalmology
- Neonatology: FCPS-II Paediatrics
General eligibility
- MBBS from a PM&DC recognized medical college / university
- Valid PM&DC license
- Medical graduates from abroad must have a valid PM&DC equivalence certificate
- One-year house job certificate from a PM&DC recognized hospital

Venue: PAF Hospital Islamabad (Cecil Chaudhry Complex), Margalla Road, Sector E-9, Islamabad. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- General Medicine: 0800 to 0930 hrs
- General Surgery and Radiology: 1000 to 1100 hrs
- Gynae & Obs, Paeds: 1100 to 1200 hrs
- Anesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Neonatology: 1200 to 1300 hrs
- Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Glaucoma, Haematology and Nephrology: 1300 to 1400 hrs
- Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Urology, Electrophysiology and Gastroenterology: 1500 to 1600 hrs
Bring original documents: CNIC, MBBS final marks sheet, valid PM&DC license, FCPS-I certificate, original bank paid challan / receipt of Rs. 3,000, and relevant prior training experience certificate for the respective subspecialty or 2nd fellowship. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall. Report 1 hour before test time.
