Eligibility criteria / required documents
- Certificate of passing FCPS Part-I
- Sindh domicile
- MBBS / BDS as applicable
- Certificate of CPSP registration, if already registered
- Experience certificate, if already registered
- Valid PMDC registration
Important
- Applicants for a subspecialty are eligible only if they have completed two years in General Medicine / General Surgery before the start of session, with a 2-year completion certificate (including all deficits) from the date of RTMC registration before 30.06.26.
- Change of track will not be allowed after the entry test.
- Candidates already registered with RTMC must produce an NOC from CPSP and the institution at the time of interview. Those registered for the 2 and 3 year track are eligible only if their training period is less than 6 months; those registered for the 4 year track only if it is less than 1 year.
- Candidates awaiting FCPS-I results may apply but must produce the final pass result before the entry test.
- General Surgery 1 year track is only for candidates who will opt for Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery and do a further 4 years of training.
- Government candidates with 3 years or more of service are eligible to apply in the government quota.
- Candidates employed in the government sector must submit an NOC from the Health Department, Government of Sindh, before the entry test. Private sector employees must obtain an NOC from their employers at the time of application.
- Fee: Application form along with entry test fee (non-refundable) PKR 8,000, to be submitted online through the DUHS website

Last date: May 15, 2026
Entrance test: Sunday, June 7, 2026 (tentative). Exact venue and time will be communicated through the admit card.
