Medical Director (IPS-11, Contract)
Applications are invited for appointment on a lump-sum contract basis at Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha, under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Lahore.

- Minimum pay package: Rs 980,000 per month
- Age limit: 40 to 65 years
- Tenure: four (04) years, eligible for re-appointment subject to satisfactory performance
Educational qualification:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC/PMC, and
- FCPS (Cardiology / Cardiac Surgery) or MD / MS (Cardiology / Cardiac Surgery), FRCS, Membership or Fellowship of a Royal College (UK), Diplomate of the American Board, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty recognized by PMDC/PMC
Experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years post-fellowship experience in a recognized healthcare institution, and
- At least five (5) years in a clinical leadership role such as Medical Director, Head of Department or equivalent
- At least ten (10) research publications in HEC/PM&DC approved or internationally indexed journals in the relevant specialty
Eligibility and terms:
- Only candidates with Punjab domicile are eligible
- Government servants must apply through proper channel
- Equivalent qualifications need an equivalence certificate from HEC or PMDC
- General age relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government of Punjab policy
- Institutional practice allowed as per NSIC regulations; private practice outside the institute not permitted
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA
