Applications on prescribed forms are invited from interested in-service / private candidates for admission to residency training programs for the session July 2026 at Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital, Khairpur Mir’s.
FCPS-II Training Programs
- General Medicine (2-year program leading to subspecialty, or 4-year program)
- General Surgery (2-year program leading to subspecialty, or 4-year program)
- Paediatrics
- Gynaecology & Obstetrics
- Ophthalmology
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopaedics
Eligibility
- MBBS from a recognized university (Schedule I and II of the PMDC Act)
- Valid PMDC registration certificate as medical practitioner
- One year house job in a recognized teaching institute
- FCPS-I passing certificate from CPSP
- Domicile of Sindh
- Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics: as per CPSP criteria
Fee
- Entry test fee: Rs. 8,000 (Rs. 10,000 with late fee), non-refundable
Schedule
- Submission of application forms starts: May 20, 2026
- Last date with late fee: June 8, 2026
- Display of eligible candidates / issue of admit cards: June 15, 2026
- Entry test: June 20, 2026
- Declaration of successful candidates: June 25, 2026
- Start of session: July 1, 2026
How to Apply
Download the application form along with challan from the Khairpur Medical College website www.khprkmc.edu.pk. Submit the complete application with paid challan and two attested photocopy sets of all documents (as per checklist) at the office of the Chairman Postgraduate Section, Medical Unit-I, Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital, Khairpur. Those employed in government / semi-government services or other universities must apply through proper channel (an advance copy may be sent). Venue and time of the entry test will be announced with admit cards. Selection will be on merit against availability of seats. No TA/DA for the entry test.
