Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts at Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, Lahore
Applications are invited for appointment against the following teaching cadre posts of BS-18 and above on adhoc basis, for a period of one year or till the arrival of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
Associate Professor (Age 30 to 50 years)
- Oral Biology (1 post)
- Oral Pathology (1 post)
- Science of Dental Materials (1 post)
- Operative Dentistry (1 post)
- Periodontology (1 post)
- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (1 post)
Qualification and experience: BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC with a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject (such as D.Sc, Ph.D, MDS, M.Phil or FCPS as applicable) and 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor with research papers published in a standard medical/dental journal. Alternative criteria with postgraduate diploma and longer experience apply where no such candidate is available (see image for full details).
Assistant Professor (Age 25 to 45 years)
- Science of Dental Materials (1 post)
- Paediatric Dentistry
- Periodontology (1 post)
Qualification and experience: BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject (MDS, M.Phil, FCPS, MSc or equivalent), with teaching experience as Demonstrator as required. Terms and conditions
- Candidates must be domiciled in any district of the Punjab.
- Employees of government, semi-government or autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel with NOC.
- Recruitment will be made according to the existing policy of the Government of the Punjab and all quotas shall apply.
- No TA/DA shall be allowed for interviews.
