Selection of Postgraduate (FCPS-II) and House Job Trainees, Capital Hospital Islamabad
Capital Development Authority (CDA), Capital Hospital Islamabad, invites applications on the prescribed forms for the following training programs.
1. Postgraduate Training (FCPS-II), starting from July 2026
- Medicine & Allied: General Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, Cardiology
- Surgery & Allied: General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT
- Eligibility: Recently passed FCPS Part-I in the concerned discipline; MBBS or equivalent qualification registered with PMDC; one year house job from a PMDC recognized institution; valid permanent PMDC registration certificate; computerized valid CNIC
- Application forms available from the Postgraduate Section of Capital Hospital from June 26 to June 30, 2026
- Last date: July 2, 2026
- Test / Interview: Medicine & Allied on July 16, 2026 (Thursday) at 08:30 AM; Surgery & Allied on July 18, 2026 (Saturday) at 08:30 AM, at the Auditorium, Capital Hospital
- List of selected candidates will be displayed at the end of interviews on the respective dates
2. House Job Training (six-month paid residential structured house job, starting from August 1, 2026)
- Eligibility: Fresh graduates from public sector medical colleges of Pakistan and sons/daughters of CDA employees only
- Specialties: Medicine & Allied (Paediatrics, Dermatology, Radiology); Surgery & Allied (Gynae & Obstetrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology and Orthopedics)
- Application forms available from the Admin Section of the hospital from July 6 to July 11, 2026
- Last date: July 13, 2026 (Monday)
- Merit list display: July 22, 2026 (Thursday)
- Test / Interview of shortlisted candidates: July 25, 2026 (Saturday) at 08:30 AM
- List of selected candidates: July 30, 2026
How to apply: Application forms can also be downloaded from the CDA website www.cda.gov.pk. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview. Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid. No separate call letter will be issued; candidates should stay in contact with hospital management for the latest position.
