Community Health Sciences is inviting applications for the position of Associate Professor. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, advocacy and policy initiatives in Reproductive Health and related disciplines.
Eligibility / Requirements
- A doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, MBBS with advanced postgraduate qualifications, or equivalent) in Public Health, Reproductive Health, Epidemiology, Community Health, or a related field
- Demonstrated academic experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching
- A strong record of research, scholarly publications and successful grant acquisition
- Experience in reproductive health, maternal and child health, health systems, policy engagement, or related areas
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership and mentorship skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver curricula for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students in Reproductive Health
- Lead research programs in Reproductive Health and secure research funding
- Advocate for policies related to reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and gender equity
- Participate in teaching and research across the Department of Community Health Sciences
