Research Associate, Institute for Global Health and Development (Gilgit-Baltistan)
The Aga Khan University (Medical College) invites applications for a grant-funded contractual Research Associate post with the Institute for Global Health and Development, based in Gilgit-Baltistan. MBBS graduates are eligible.
Eligibility
- Qualification: MBBS, or Bachelor’s in Public Health, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences or a relevant field (16 years of education)
- Experience: 1 to 2 years, preferably in community work
- Basic knowledge of data collection, analysis, biostatistics and report writing; good writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate in English and Sindhi
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor project activities, including data collection and analysis
- Ensure study protocols are followed and activities are completed on time
- Literature review, proposal development and development of data collection tools
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis, reports and peer-reviewed publications
- Liaise with granting agencies and stakeholders; train and mentor junior staff
