Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R), Karachi invites applications for postgraduate training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR), FCPS-II (Fellowship from CPSP, Pakistan). Candidates with domiciles of all provinces may apply.
Eligibility
- Certificate of passing FCPS Part-I in General Medicine or General Surgery
- MBBS degree + 1 year House Job
- Valid PMC / PMDC registration
About the Specialty
A PM&R physician (physiatrist) specializes in a broad range of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services. Training includes musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, amputee, cardiopulmonary, autism and interventional rehabilitation (pain management, spasticity management), nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
How to Apply
- Application form can be downloaded from the website www.sipmr.edu.pk.
- Submit the form at the Department of Postgraduate Studies, Additional Executive Director Office, along with all required documents of eligibility and a pay order of Rs. 3000/- in favor of Fees Collection SIPMR, National Bank of Pakistan, Income Tax Building Branch, Karachi.
- Candidates in Government service should apply through proper channel with an advance copy to Administration, SIPM&R, with NOC from Govt. of Sindh.
- No TA/DA will be paid, nor will accommodation be provided to any candidate.
