Appointment Criteria for Initial Full-Time Consultant Positions
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
For candidates trained in Pakistan:
- Successful completion of a formal postgraduate medical education program
- Award of the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS)
- Completion of a relevant sub-speciality Fellowship
For candidates trained internationally:
- Successful completion of MRCP (UK), FRCS, or another equivalent international fellowship
- Alternatively, American Board certification(s), including the relevant sub-speciality boards, where applicable
- In addition, candidates must have at least three years of experience in a Western institution
