Eligibility
- Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC (or M.Sc. of a recognized university in basic sciences for non-medical graduates).
- Postgraduate qualification: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil etc. in the respective subject (FCPS/MD with DPH for public health institutes only), or equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC.
- Experience: five years teaching or practical experience before or after the postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject for holders of higher postgraduate qualification like FCPS. Preference: 1st teaching experience, 2nd practical experience after postgraduate qualification, 3rd practical experience before postgraduate qualification.
- Research: credit for original publications in standard medical journals.
- Maximum age: 35 years (age relaxation as per Federal Government rules; government employees with at least 2 years regular service get up to 10 years relaxation, maximum 55 years).

The written screening process will be managed by Candidate Testing Services (CTS), which charges a separate fee for each post. Candidates in government service may apply through proper channel.
