Postgraduate Diploma Courses in Public Health & Community Medicine, Session 2026
The Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) Larkana invites applications from candidates holding Sindh domicile (urban/rural) for one-year postgraduate diploma courses in Community Medicine and Public Health. These courses offer career opportunities in government health services and international and national agencies such as UNICEF, WHO and PPHI.
Programs and eligibility
- Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Nutrition and Food Technology: BS Nutrition, BS Dietetics, BS Public Health, MBBS, BDS or BS Nursing
- Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Administration: BS Public Health, MBBS, BDS or BS Nursing
- Duration: One year

- Form processing fee: Rs. 1,000
- Admission test fee: Rs. 10,000

How to apply
- Download the application form from the SMBBMU website www.smbbmu.edu.pk and pay the fee via Sindh Bank challan.
- Submit the completed form with the receipt and attested photocopies of all documents as per the checklist to the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU @ CMC Larkana, by hand or courier, before the last date.
- Admit cards with the date and time of the admission test will be issued. Only candidates who pass the written admission test will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
- Candidates in government, semi-government or autonomous service or other universities must apply through proper channel, and may send an advance copy with all documents.
- All fees are non-refundable. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. The Directorate reserves the right to change the schedule or courses in unavoidable circumstances.
