Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following posts at Nowshera Medical College, Nowshera, as per criteria prescribed by the Policy Board under the KPK MTI Reforms Act 2015 (amended time to time).
1. Professors
- Basic Sciences: Pharmacology, Anatomy, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Chemical Pathology, Histopathology, Microbiology
- Clinical Sciences: Gynae/Obs, Anaesthesia
2. Associate Professors
- Basic Sciences: Community Medicine, Chemical Pathology, Histopathology, Haematology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Pharmacology
- Clinical Sciences: General Medicine, Gynae/Obs, ENT, Anaesthesia, Radiology, Orthopaedic, Paeds Surgery
3. Assistant Professors
- Basic Sciences: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, Physiology
- Clinical Sciences: Anaesthesia, ENT, Eye, General Surgery, General Medicine, Gynae/Obs, Nephrology, Urology, Neurology, Accident & Emergency, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Oncology
Criteria for Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors: Faculty Selection Criteria / Regulations for MTIs, Appendix 10, approved by the Policy Board on May 18, 2026.
4. Demonstrators
- MBBS from a PMDC recognized university/institution.
- Must have completed one year house job from a recognized teaching hospital.
- Valid PMDC license.
Application fee
- Professors and Associate Professors: Rs. 5,000
- Assistant Professors: Rs. 3,000
- Demonstrators: Rs. 1,500
The fee is to be deposited in the Bank of Khyber (BoK) in favour of “Dean, Nowshera Medical College” (account details in the advertisement). The original bank deposit slip must be attached with the application.

- The prescribed application form is available in the Establishment/HR Section of Nowshera Medical College and on the college website www.nmcn.edu.pk.
- Applications with a detailed CV and attested photocopies of all relevant documents must reach the office of the undersigned on or before the last date.
- Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous or Public Sector organizations must apply through proper channel with a valid NOC.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
- Candidates who previously applied for these posts under earlier advertisements must apply afresh.
