Medical Officer (CCU) Job at Omar Hospital & Cardiac Centre, Jail Road Branch, Lahore
A CCU Medical Officer manages patients with serious cardiac conditions and supports senior cardiologists in providing 24/7 monitoring, quick treatment and critical care.
Eligibility
- MBBS from a PM&DC / PMC recognized university with a valid license
- Preference to candidates with 1 to 2 years of prior clinical experience in Intensive Care (ICU) or Cardiology
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory for critical care units
Key responsibilities
- Patient monitoring: initial check-ups, monitoring cardiac rhythms and documenting clinical findings
- Emergency interventions: CPR, defibrillation, intubation, emergency IV/arterial line insertions
- Assisting senior cardiologists during rounds and reporting patient deterioration
- Clinical documentation: drug charts, lab and radiology reports, discharge summaries
