Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology (NSIC), Sargodha, under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Punjab, invites applications for the following posts on contract basis (lump-sum contract for three years).

- Electrophysiology: Junior Consultant (BPS-8, 2)
- Nuclear Cardiology: Consultant (BPS-9, 1), Junior Consultant (BPS-8, 1)

Qualification and experience:
- Senior Consultant: MBBS with FCPS / MS / MD / MRCP (with CCT) / FRCS / MRCPath / Diplomate American Board or equivalent in the relevant subject recognized by PM&DC, with at least 9 years’ experience after post-graduation and five research papers in PMDC/HEC/international recognized journals. Age 38 to 55 years.
- Consultant: MBBS with FCPS / MS / MD / MRCP (with CCT) / FRCR / FRCS / Ph.D / M.Phil / MRCPath / Diplomate American Board or equivalent in the relevant subject, with at least 3 years’ experience after post-graduation and two research papers in recognized journals. Age 30 to 45 years.
- Junior Consultant: MBBS with FCPS / MS / MD / MRCP (with CCT) / FRCS / FRCR / MRCPath / Diplomate American Board or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject recognized by PM&DC (Anesthesia: also MCPS/DA with three years’ experience after MCPS/DA). Age 30 to 40 years (25 to 40 years for Hematology).
- Manager Infection Control: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC/PMC with 2 years of relevant experience. Age 25 to 35 years.
- Blood Bank Officer: MBBS in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification with two years’ experience in the relevant field. Age 25 to 35 years.

Eligibility: Candidates from all over Pakistan may apply for Senior Consultant, Consultant and Junior Consultant posts; for other posts only candidates with Punjab domicile are eligible. Government servants must apply through proper channel. Candidates with equivalent qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC or PMDC. Age relaxation as per Government of Punjab policy; 5% quota for minorities and 3% for persons with disabilities.

Submit the duly filled form with attested copies of all relevant documents to the HR Department, Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha. Applications sent by post/TCS must also reach before the deadline. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; a screening or written test may be held. No TA/DA admissible.
