The District Health Office, Islamabad, under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, invites applications from eligible candidates for posts in 04 projects on contract basis (till expiry of the projects). All posts are on open merit.
B. Community Health Centre at Bari Imam, ICT Islamabad
- Senior Medical Officer / Public Health Specialist (PPS-08, 1 post): MBBS or equivalent recognized by regulatory body; additional relevant qualification preferred; 5 years experience. Age up to 40 years.
- Specialists (PPS-08, 1 post each): ENT Specialist, Medical Specialist (Physician), General Surgeon (Specialist), Pathologist, Gynecologist, Pediatrician, Anesthetist, Radiologist. MBBS or equivalent; postgraduate medical qualification (local or foreign) recognized by relevant regulatory body, with 5 years experience relevant to the post. Age up to 40 years.
- Eye Specialist (PPS-08, 1 post): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC; PM&DC level III qualification (FCPS/MD/MS or equivalent) in the specialty; 3 years clinical experience in the relevant specialty. Age up to 40 years.
- Public Health Manager (PPS-07, 1 post): Master’s in Public Health Management or equivalent; MBBS will be preferred. Age up to 35 years.
- Medical Officer (Female) (PPS-07, 6 posts): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferable. Age up to 35 years.
- Dental Surgeon (PPS-07, 1 post): BDS recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferred. Age up to 35 years.
C. Mother Neonates & Child Health Center (MNCHC) at Bhadana Kalan, ICT Islamabad
- Specialists (PPS-08): Gynecologist (Female, Incharge) 2 posts, Anesthetist (Female) 2 posts, Pediatrician 1 post, Radiologist (Female) 1 post. MBBS or equivalent with postgraduate qualification recognized by relevant regulatory body and 5 years experience relevant to the post. Age up to 40 years.
- Women Medical Officer (PPS-07, 4 posts) and Medical Officer (PPS-07, 4 posts): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferable. Age up to 35 years.
D. Establishment of 04 BHUs in ICT Islamabad
(i) Community Health Hospital (G-13):
- Senior Medical Officer / Public Health Administrator (PPS-08, 1 post): MBBS or equivalent; additional relevant qualification preferred; 5 years experience. Age up to 40 years.
- Specialists (PPS-08, 1 post each): ENT Specialist, Medical Specialist (Physician), General Surgeon (Specialist), Pathologist, Gynecologist, Pediatrician, Anesthetist, Eye Specialist (Ophthalmologist), Radiologist. Qualification as above. Age up to 40 years.
- Public Health Manager (PPS-07, 1 post): Master’s in Public Health Management or equivalent; MBBS preferred.
- Medical Officer (Male) (PPS-07, 6 posts), Medical Officer (Female) (PPS-07, 6 posts): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferable. Age up to 35 years.
- Dental Surgeon (PPS-07, 1 post): BDS recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferred.
(ii) Basic Health Unit Golra Sharif:
- Medical Officer (Male) (PPS-07, 1 post) and Medical Officer (Female) (PPS-07, 1 post): MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC; 2 years experience preferable. Age up to 35 years.

General Instructions
- Age will be calculated from the closing date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation as per Establishment Division’s O.M dated 24/06/2010.
- Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be called for walk-in test/interview. No TA/DA admissible.
- The written screening process will be managed by Candidates Testing Services (CTS), which will charge a separate fee for each post.
- No application will be entertained by hand.
