Faculty Positions (Anaesthesia) and Consultant Anaesthetist at MTI Mardan Medical Complex Mardan
The Medical Teaching Institution, Mardan (MTI Mardan) invites job applications from qualified candidates for merit-based appointment against the following vacant positions on contract basis:
1. Faculty Positions, Anaesthesia (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels)
- Qualification: FCPS in Anesthesia, or British or USA board certification in Anesthesia, or other equivalent qualification in the specialty. Faculty level will be assigned according to the MTI Policy Board Regulations.
- Note: In case of scarcity of eligible candidates, Fellows with deficiencies in experience/publication may be considered for appointment as Clinical Instructors / Consultants at a level equivalent to the appropriate professorial level, and will be converted to Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor on fulfilling the required criteria.
- Compensation: A special incentivized salary package will be offered.
2. Consultant Anesthetist
- Qualification: Qualified DA / MCPS in Anesthesia

Terms and conditions
- Service will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended) and MTI Regulations.
- For positions 1 and 2, recruitment will occur on a recurrence basis, even before the closing date. Applications will remain open till the vacancies are filled or up to six months from the date of publication, whichever is earlier.
- If deemed necessary, the test will be conducted through ETEA.
- Candidates applying for more than one post shall apply separately for each post.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
