Clinical faculty positions
- Chairman / Chairperson: Departments of Anaesthesia, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, and Surgical & Allied. MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC with a higher qualification in the relevant specialty / subspecialty, at least 7 years experience in a reputable institution after the higher qualification, and evidence of scholarly activity / publications and teaching.
- Instructor / Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor: Adult Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, Thoracic Surgery, Anesthesia, Infectious Disease
- Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor: Plastic Surgery, General Medicine
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent recognized by PM&DC plus a higher diploma in the relevant specialty such as FCPS, MRCP / FRCP, FRCS, CCT, American Board Certification or equivalent recognized by PM&DC.
- Instructor candidates must have cleared the Fellowship Examination in the relevant specialty (Intensive Care Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Anaesthesia or Infectious Diseases) or equivalent.
Academic, faculty and research positions
- Health Professions Education (HPE): Demonstrator (MBBS with MHPE, preference for interest in HPE / Medical Education); Assistant Professor (MBBS with M.Phil and MHPE / Medical Education or equivalent with relevant teaching experience); Associate Professor / Professor (MBBS with PhD or equivalent with teaching experience and research publications).
- Research Officer: MBBS plus MHR or equivalent registered with PM&DC / HEC, with at least 2 years post-qualification experience as Research Officer.
