Applications are invited for appointment against various positions on lump-sum contract (tenure) basis for a period of three years at Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, Lahore under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Lahore. Posts open to MBBS doctors:
Hospital Director (IPS-11, 1 post)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Public Health or Public Administration, or any other management qualification recognized by HEC. Medical graduates may apply if they possess an additional management degree. Medical graduates appointed shall not engage in private practice
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in a recognized healthcare institution, with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in a hospital administrative/leadership role
- Age limit: 40 to 65 years
- Tenure: 4 years, eligible for re-appointment upon satisfactory performance evaluation by the Board
Director Research (IPS-9, 1 post)
- Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS or FCPS or MRCP with CCT / Board Certified Cardiology USA or M.Phil or PhD or other equivalent qualification
- Experience: At least 5 years in research; at least 10 publications in national and international journals; exposure in international researches (at least two) as Principal Investigator / research coordinator
- Age limit: 35 to 65 years
Manager QEC (IPS-7, 1 post)
- Qualification: MBA/MPA/MPH / Hospital Administration / Health Management / Total Quality Management or relevant degree from an HEC recognized university with minimum 3 years postgraduate experience in quality assurance/management. If none is available, then MBBS with 2 years experience in quality assurance
- CPHQ certification or diploma in quality assurance, or prior experience in a JCI accredited hospital, will be preferred
- Age limit: 25 to 40 years
Manager Waste Management (IPS-7, 1 post)
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institution or university recognized by PM&DC/PMC with 2 years of relevant experience
- Age limit: 25 to 40 years
