Qualification
- MBBS from a PM&DC-recognized university / institution
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Administration / Health Professions Education (HPE)
- Preference for candidates having a certificate / diploma / master’s in the relevant field from a PM&DC/HEC-recognized institution
Experience
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in management, training and coordination, preferably in medical educational institutions / universities and healthcare setups of public or private sector of good repute
- Knowledge of national and international accreditation, teaching and quality standards in medical education will be an added advantage
- Competency to establish a performance management system and accountability at teaching institutions and hospitals
- Excellent analytical and coordination skills
- Proven leadership qualities to manage and facilitate teaching, clinical and administrative workforce
- Ability to forecast, manage and monitor budgeting and financial resources
