Qualification
- MBBS with valid PMDC registration
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures and treatment protocols
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, medical billing and healthcare claims processing
Main duties
- Examine and evaluate medical claims, clinical documents, treatment plans and diagnostic information
- Apply ICD-10 coding to ensure accurate classification and processing of claims
- Assess claims against company policies, health insurance guidelines and regulations
- Detect and report inconsistencies, discrepancies or fraud indicators
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal departments; prepare claim assessment reports
