MCPS in Healthcare Systems Management (HCSM): College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan
The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) invites applications for the MCPS in Healthcare Systems Management (HCSM).
- Duration: 5 semesters (Year 1 to Year 3)
- Contact session: Four weeks
- Credit hours: 1 credit hour = 16 hours of teaching; 1.5 credit hours = 24 hours of teaching
- Supervised Learning Assignment (SLA): 0.5 credit hour = 1.5 hours of work per week for 16 weeks of a semester; 1.5 credit hours = 4.5 hours of work per week for 16 weeks
Course Structure
- Year 1, Semester 1 (10 credit hours): Human Resource Management, Managing Healthcare Organization (MHCO), Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Ethics and Law
- Year 1, Semester 2 (11 credit hours): Capstone 1 Project, Health Management Information System (HMIS), Communication Skills for Health Care Managers, Financial Management, Introduction to Health Care Systems Management
- Year 2, Semester 3 (10 credit hours): Supply Management, Global Health Policy, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Organizational Behavior and Development, RMNCAH
- Year 2, Semester 4 (10 credit hours): Entrepreneurship, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Healthcare Marketing, Communicable and Non-communicable Diseases, Health Promotion, Planning and Evaluation
- Year 3, Semester 5 (11 credit hours): Capstone 2 Project, Strategic Management, Project Management, Environmental & Occupational Health, Business Leadership
