Emergency Medical Officer (Full time, on-site, Islamabad)
The Emergency Medical Officer will handle emergency and ER management, run programs related to emergency operations, engage with senior government and development officials, and lead emergency medical missions across the country.
Qualification
- MBBS or equivalent recognised medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid licence / registration to practise medicine in Pakistan
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience and skills
- Hands-on experience in emergency and ER management, with familiarity with emergency department workflows
- Patient care skills: triage, clinical assessment and communication with patients and families
- Experience in hospital management, health systems leadership and humanitarian work
- Coordination of treatment and referrals between hospitals, districts and provinces
- Training or mentoring junior clinicians, interns or support staff in emergency care protocols
- Sound decision making under pressure and careful documentation
