Senior Medical Officer (Medicine), Princess Zahra Pavilion
The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi invites applications for a Senior Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine, Princess Zahra Pavilion.
- Qualification: MBBS with valid BLS certification and a valid PMC license
- Experience: At least 5 years post-MBBS or 3 years post-MCPS experience, preferably in Internal Medicine
- Ability to work independently and in teams, handle medical emergencies and work on rotations/shifts
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat patients in the assigned ward and perform common procedures as permitted
- Provide comprehensive care to patients admitted in the Princess Zahra Pavilion and lead the designated floor
- Work under the supervision of on-call consultants
- Train unit staff and take part in education and quality improvement activities
