Certified Healthcare Quality Professional (CHQP): 4-Month Professional Diploma
A joint program of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust and PIQC Institute of Quality, Lahore. Classes are held physically at SKMCH&RC premises in Lahore and Peshawar. The course body of knowledge leads towards preparation for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) of USA.

- CHQP Batch 19, Lahore: starts November 14, 2026 (Saturdays, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- CHQP Batch 20, Peshawar: starts November 28, 2026 (Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Duration: 4 months, weekend classes (every Saturday)
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with a medical background, including medical doctors, pharmacists, radiologists, medical superintendents and qualified nurses with a bachelor’s degree. Preference for applicants with relevant professional experience.
Fee (self-sponsored, 2026):
- Total program fee: Rs 125,000 (tuition Rs 120,000 + registration Rs 5,000)
- Instalments: first Rs 35,000 (including registration fee), then 3 instalments of Rs 30,000 each
- Applicable taxes are charged for organization-sponsored participants. 10% discount on 3 or more nominations from the same company.
Course contents:
- Module 1: Strategic Healthcare Quality Management
- Module 2: Regulatory, Accreditation and Certification (ISO 9000, Punjab Healthcare Commission standards, JCI accreditation, infection control, occupational health and safety, facilities management)
- Module 3: Information Management (hospital MIS, legal aspects, documentation and medical records)
- Module 4: Performance Improvement (healthcare data analytics, Six Sigma, Lean management)
- Module 5: People Management
- Module 6: Clinical Governance (complaints and incident management, medication management, risk management)
