Chief Medical Officer (Contract)
Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for the post of Chief Medical Officer on a contractual basis.
Qualification:
- MBBS from a well-reputed institute recognized by HEC
- MCPS Family Medicine, an equivalent foreign qualification, or higher qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine will be a plus
Experience: At least 3 years in healthcare administration of a corporate set-up, company or hospital
Age limit: Maximum 50 years on the closing date
Key responsibilities:
- Visit PRCL head office daily for 5 hours; scrutinize medical files and panel hospital bills
- Check and countersign medical reimbursement claims of employees and families
- Attend patients for consultation, carry out medical examination of new employees and refer patients to panel hospitals
- Visit admitted employees at panel hospitals and assist in medical rules and policies
Terms: Initial appointment for two years, extendable. Fixed monthly consultancy fee, decided at interview. Public sector employees must provide NOC at interview. No TA/DA for interview.
