Requirements
- Senior Instructor: minimum 2 years of post-fellowship (FCPS) experience in Cardiac Surgery, with scholarship through research, publications and/or education
- Assistant Professor: 2 years of experience as Senior Instructor, with scholarship through research, publications and/or education
- FCPS, FRCS, American Board or equivalent, with completed postgraduate training in a recognized cardiac surgery program
- Significant independent consultant-level experience in adult cardiac surgery, including coronary, valvular and other complex procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level adult cardiac surgery, including CABG, valvular, aortic and complex procedures.
- Teach, mentor and supervise medical students, residents and fellows.
- Contribute to research, publications, MDT planning, clinical audit, M&M reviews and patient safety initiatives.
