Eligibility
- Education: Postgraduate degree (FCPS/PhD) or equivalent in the relevant subject
- Experience: Less than one year of post-fellowship experience
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver anesthesia for elective and emergency surgery, including pre-anesthetic evaluation and consultation.
- Monitor vital functions and manage the airway, oxygenation and ventilation during and after surgery.
- Provide acute and chronic pain relief using pharmacological and interventional approaches.
- Care for critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU, including advanced life support, and manage recovery in PACU.
- Counsel patients and families, obtain informed consent, and perform procedures within IHN credentialing.
