Hiring of Specialist Doctors on Fixed Pay (SPS) Basis through Walk-in Interview, Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan
Under the arrangement of “Operationalisation of DHQ Hospitals” approved by the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, applications are invited from eligible doctors for hiring on fixed pay (SPS) basis through walk-in interview in Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan.

- Medical Specialist (2): DHQ Hospital Astore (1), DHQ Hospital Sikandarabad Nagar (1)
- Anesthetist (3): Gilgit Region (1), PHQ Hospital Gilgit (evening/night shift) (1), DHQ Hospital Sikandarabad Nagar (1)

Qualification and Experience (Specialist posts)
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute registered with PM&DC
- PM&DC Level-II [(a) or (b)] / Level-III or equivalent qualification in the relevant specialty recognized by PM&DC, with clinical experience of 3 years with Level-II and 2 years with Level-III in the relevant specialty
Qualification and Experience (Supervisor PG Training, Obs & Gynae)
- As per CPSP policy: at least holds the position of Assistant Professor, to be approved by CPSP as a supervisor for training of postgraduate candidates, with 5 years post fellowship experience after FCPS/FRCS/FRCP/MRCP/MS/MD or equivalent qualification recognized by CPSP
- Photocopy of valid PMDC registration certificate updated showing all postgraduate degrees
- Photocopies of four mandatory workshops for supervisors
Domicile and Age
- Open merit; preference to domicile holders of Gilgit-Baltistan
- Age limit: 45 years maximum (relaxable for retired consultants/specialist doctors subject to motivation and medical fitness)
Pay Package
- Specialist doctors (Qualified): Rs. 350,000 per month
- Specialist doctors (Trained): Rs. 300,000 per month
- Supervisor of Gynaecologist post at RHQ Hospital Chilas: Rs. 500,000 per month
- Hiring on fixed pay/temporary basis for a period ending 30th June, 2027
How to Apply
- Submit application with one set of attested photocopies of all documents (domicile, CNIC, academic certificates, experience certificates and valid permanent registration with PM&DC) mentioning active cell number, during office hours in the Office of the Secretary Health GB, New Secretariat Jutial, Gilgit.
- List of shortlisted candidates will be displayed by 10th September, 2026.
- Regular/contract doctors of GB Government may apply through proper channel.
- Specialist doctors (Trained) presently serving on fixed pay basis may submit their postgraduate degrees for up-gradation from “Trained” to “Qualified” category.
- No TA/DA admissible.
