- Community Medicine: 1 post (Sindh (R) quota)
- Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC, OR M.Sc. of a recognized university in case of basic sciences in the relevant subject (for non-medical graduates)
- Postgraduate qualification: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil etc. in the respective subject; FCPS/MD with DPH (for Public Health institutes only), OR equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC. The qualification should be in the respective specialty, not the general qualifications.
- Experience: 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject in a Postgraduate Institute only, OR 8 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in an undergraduate medical institution
- Research: At least three research papers, OR at least 5 research papers if teaching experience is in an undergraduate institution
- Maximum age: 45 years (age relaxation as per Federal Government rules; government employees with minimum 2 years regular service are eligible for upper age relaxation of up to 10 years, subject to a maximum age limit of 55 years)
- Appointment will be made on regular basis
