NUMS Postgraduate Admissions, Fall 2026
National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Rawalpindi invites applications for the following postgraduate programs. All programs are recognized by HEC.
Programs open to MBBS / BDS graduates
- MS Public Health (AFPGMI): 16 years of education (MBBS/BDS/MD or other listed degrees), one year full time work experience in a public/private healthcare setting or community, NUMS Entry Test/valid GRE/HAT/GAT (General) with minimum 50% score, and NUMS interview.
- Clinical Fellowship in Otology & Audio-Vestibular Rehabilitation (AFPGMI/CMH Rawalpindi): FCPS/FRCS/MS or equivalent qualification in the relevant specialty, valid PM&DC registration, NUMS Entry Test/valid GRE/HAT/GAT (General) with minimum 50% score, and NUMS interview.
- Certificate in Clinical Research (6 months) and Diploma in Clinical Research (1 year) (NIASR): 16 years of education (MBBS, BDS or other listed degrees). Applicants should select only one program; candidates in the Certificate program may continue to the Diploma subject to approval.
- MS Microbiology and Immunology, Bioinformatics, Human Genetics, Biotechnology, Nanomedicine, Natural Product Drug Discovery (NIASR): 16 years of education in biosciences or health sciences (MBBS/BDS/DVM/Medical Technologies) or pharmaceutical sciences, NUMS Entry Test/valid GRE/HAT/GAT (General) with minimum 50% score, and NUMS interview.
- MPhil Human Nutrition & Dietetics (NIASR): candidates with MBBS/BDS, Pharm-D, Nursing or Public Health can apply for this program only (not MPhil Food Science & Technology). NUMS Entry Test/valid GRE/HAT/GAT (General) with minimum 50% score and interview with assessment of a brief research proposal.

Schedule
- Admissions open: June 9, 2026
- Last date to apply online: July 20, 2026 (by 1600 hours), application fee Rs. 6,000 (non-refundable)
- Commencement: August 17, 2026 (MSPH, Clinical Fellowship, Certificate/Diploma in Clinical Research); September 14, 2026 (MS and MPhil programs at NIASR)
How to Apply
- Fill the online application form separately for each program at www.numspak.edu.pk. No printed form is required.
- Bring original academic documents at the time of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called.
- Government/semi government employees must apply through their departments; NOC is required.
- 5% seats are reserved for children of Overseas Pakistanis.
- Foreign qualifications require an equivalence certificate from IBCC/HEC and PM&DC.
