Admission Notice: FCPS-II Training Programmes (Session July 2026)
Applications are invited from eligible Pakistani national candidates for FCPS-II training in the following disciplines at Shaikh Zayed Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore.

- Must possess first fellowship FCPS degree as per CPSP subject policy.
Eligibility Criteria (FCPS-II)
- MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PM&DC
- One year House Job completed from a recognized institute
- Permanent valid PM&DC registration certificate
- Passed FCPS Part-I in the relevant subject/specialty as per CPSP policy
Required Documents (in this sequence)
- Institutional application form
- Application processing fee slip
- Three passport-size photographs duly attested front and back
- CNIC
- Copy of FCPS-I result certificate
- MBBS degree and detailed marks sheets of all professional examinations
- Copy of distinction certificate (if any)
- Copy of BLS, ALS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certificates (American Heart Association certified)
- Copy of soft skills workshops (communication, presentation, leadership, team working, time management, problem solving, interpersonal, collaboration, emotional, self-management and conflict resolution skills)
- PM&DC valid permanent registration certificate
- Copy of House Job certificates
- HEC/PM&DC equivalency certificate for foreign qualifications
- Candidates who have completed mandatory training in Surgery/Medicine are eligible to apply for allied specialty training; those who passed IMM will be preferred
- Domicile certificate
- Copy of publications (if any) in approved journals from PM&DC/PubMed indexed and HEC
Procedure for Form & Fee
- Application processing fee: Rs. 2000/- for each specialty.
- Application form can be downloaded from www.skzmdc.edu.pk.
- Fee (Rs. 2,000) may be paid online in favour of Deputy Dean Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore, Account No. 3154820902, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore Branch, code 1707. Attach a copy of the online intra bank transaction with the application form.
- Forms are also available from the account section of FPGMI, Lahore on payment of Rs. 2000/-.
- Bank draft/pay order will not be accepted.
General Information
- Selection will be made on open merit basis.
- Government servants should apply through proper channel.
- Information in the application form will be verified at submission, at acceptance/joining and during training. Wrong or forged information will lead to rejection and discontinuation of contract.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
How to Apply
Documents should reach the office of Registrar Medical Education, Shaikh Zayed Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore before the closing date. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
