Admissions Open for FCPS-II (First and Second Fellowship), Session July 2026 at Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) KP Peshawar
The Postgraduate Medical Institute invites applications from doctors holding domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who have passed the FCPS-I examination on or before 30.04.2026 (for First Fellowship), as well as those applying for Second Fellowship, for FCPS-II training in various CPSP accredited specialties at its affiliated teaching institutions: MTI LRH, MTI KTH/KMC, MTI HMC/KGMC/IKD, MTI ATH/ACD, MTI MMC, MTI BKCD, MTI GMC, MTI QHAMC, MTI BKMC, MTI KCD, MTI PIC, STH/SCD, DHQTH/KIDS/LMH Kohat, BMC affiliated hospitals, all CMHs of KP and AFPGMI Rawalpindi, and private sector affiliated hospitals: NWGH, RMI, PMC, AIMC, WMDC/RMDC, Watim MDC and SBDC. Enrollment will be against the available stipendiary and supervisory slots.
Eligibility
- Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- First Fellowship: passed FCPS-I on or before 30.04.2026 (or CPSP FCPS-I exemption letter issued on or before the closing date)
- Second Fellowship: CPSP congratulation/election letter or official CPSP email; FCPS-II result must be announced on or before the closing date
Fee
- Application processing fee: Rs. 5000/- (non refundable and non transferable); a separate fee for each application
- Correction fee: Rs. 2500/-
- Foreign candidates (apply through their government to HEC Islamabad): USD 600 per annum in addition to the application processing fee
Admission schedule
- Webinar on induction process / how to apply: April 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM (link on PGMI website a day prior)
- Opening of online application portal: April 27, 2026 at 03:00 PM
- Closing of online application portal: May 11, 2026 at 04:00 PM
- Induction Appellate and Grievances Committee meeting: May 22, 2026 at 09:00 AM
- PGMI Entrance Test: June 7, 2026 (visit www.etea.edu.pk after June 1, 2026 for time, venue and roll no)
- Portal for choices/preferences will open after the final merit list.
How to apply
- Applications must be submitted online only via www.pgmi.edu.pk.
- Upload only scanned copies of original documents.
- Seat allocation will be done through PGMI official software.
- Only selected candidates will submit hard copies at the time of arrival report to the CEO office, PGMI Hayatabad Phase 4, Peshawar.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
