Faculty Positions at Lady Reading Hospital MTI, Peshawar
Lady Reading Hospital, Medical Teaching Institution (LRH-MTI), Peshawar invites applications for the following faculty positions.
Chairman / Chairperson
- Pathology: Medical degree and subspecialty training / certification in Pathology, with at least 7 years’ post experience in a reputable institution after subspecialty training. Evidence of scholarly activity / publications and teaching is required.
- Gynecology & Obstetrics: Medical degree and subspecialty training / certification in Obs & Gynae, with at least 7 years’ post experience in a reputable institution after subspecialty training. Evidence of scholarly activity / publications and teaching is required.
Assistant Professor
- Neurology: FCPS, MRCP (with CCST in Neurology), American Board Certification or equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC, along with subspecialty training in Interventional Neurology.
- Gynecology & Obstetrics: FCPS, MRCOG / FRCOG, American Board Certification or equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC.
- General Surgery: FCPS, FRCS, American Board Certification or equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC.
Assistant Professor / Instructor
- Urogynecology: FCPS (Obs & Gynae), MRCOG / FRCOG or equivalent with Fellowship or Subspecialty certification (exam passed) in Urogynaecology / Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) recognized by PMDC. If no suitable candidate, the post may be filled at the level of Instructor (fellowship exam in Urogynaecology cleared from a recognized institution).
- Surgical Oncology: FCPS, FRCS, American Board Certification or equivalent recognized by PM&DC. If no suitable candidate, the post may be filled at the level of Instructor (fellowship exam in Surgical Oncology cleared from a recognized institution).
- Emergency Medicine: FRCEM, MRCEM, FCPS Emergency Medicine, American Board Certification or equivalent recognized by PM&DC. If no suitable candidate, the post may be filled at the level of Instructor (fellowship exam in Emergency Medicine cleared from a recognized institution).

- Application processing fee: Rs. 1,000 (non-refundable), deposited in the MCB account titled “Receipt of Hospital LRH MTI” (account number given in the advertisement). Attach the original deposit slip.
- Attach a covering letter, detailed CV and copies of all relevant documents (degrees, experience certificates and research papers with authorship). Incomplete or by hand applications will not be entertained.
- Only post qualification experience will be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview.
