Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, an autonomous Medical Teaching Institution under the KP MTI Reforms Act 2015, requires the services of the following faculty from all over Pakistan.
Basic Sciences
- Assistant Professor Anatomy (1 post)
Qualification: PhD from a reputable university or FCPS in the relevant subject; MBBS with MPhil will be considered if PhD or FCPS candidates are not available. Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
Clinical Sciences
- Assistant Professor Medicine (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Gynecology (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Vitreoretinal Surgery (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Dermatology (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Nephrology (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Medical Oncology (1 post)
Qualification: MBBS degree and higher diploma such as FCPS, MRCP, FRCS or American Board qualification or equivalent; PMDC registration required before appointment. Experience: 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Publications: 2 published research papers.
- Assistant Professor Interventional Radiology (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Emergency Medicine (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Critical Care (1 post)
- Assistant Professor Paediatric Intensive Care (2 posts)
1st preference: MBBS and higher diploma such as FCPS, MRCP with CCT in relevant specialty, diploma in relevant specialty from American Board or equivalent. 2nd preference: FCPS or equivalent qualification in Paediatrics / relevant specialty, 2 years post graduate diploma / fellowship in relevant specialty from CPSP recognized institute and department. Experience: 2 years of experience after postgraduate qualification (FRCPS, MRCP, MRCS or FCPS or equivalent USA or other qualification in the relevant specialty). Publications: 2 published research papers.
Remuneration
- Serial 8 to 11: special package commensurate with experience and qualification
Selection
- Shortlisting based on educational qualifications and relevant experience as per BOG AMTI approved criteria
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; minimum 70 percent passing interview marks
- Government servants must submit NOC from the concerned department
