Qualification and Experience
- Chairperson: candidates must be from the medical faculty (only medical doctors) and currently hold a valid position in the relevant department / speciality at the level of Assistant Professor or higher. Assessed on teaching experience, research publications, leadership qualities and management skills. Tenure-based post for 3 years, renewable for two further terms of three years each. Institutional Based Practice (IBP) for clinical chairpersons is mandatory.
- Professor, Faculty Positions and Assistant Professors: as per regulations of the policy board for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MTI Act 2015 / PM&DC 2025 (amended from time to time).
- Faculty Position Gynaecology & Obstetrics: candidates with at least 2 years training in Gynaecological Oncology are encouraged to apply.
- Assistant Professor Gynaecology & Obstetrics: candidates with at least 2 years training in Maternal Fetal Medicine (first post) and Urogynecology (second post) are encouraged to apply.
- Assistant Professor Medicine (a): candidates with at least 2 years training in Critical Care Medicine are encouraged to apply.
- Attach attested testimonials, CNIC, experience certificates and credentials (SSC/HSSC/MBBS), academic certificates, additional qualifications and original research publications. Provide name, email, contact number and designation of at least three referees.

- Processing fee (non-refundable): Rs. 3,000 for Chairperson, Professor, Faculty Positions and Assistant Professors, deposited in NBP University Campus Branch Peshawar in favour of Principal KMC Peshawar (IBAN PK81NBPA0388003048663220, or over the counter in Account No. NIDA-10-4).
- Send the complete application, covering letter, original deposit slip and documents to the Department of HR & Establishment, KMC, by registered courier only, with the name of the post on the corner of the envelope.
- Civil / government servants must apply through proper channel with NOC.
- Selected clinical faculty must do mandatory IBP as per MTI Act 2015. No TA/DA for test / interview.
