Indicator 4: What the Door Plate on Your Clinic Is Really Saying
A clinic’s consultation-room door plate is more than just an identification sign. Under MSDS Indicator 4, it must be within 4 × 10 inches, contain no more than three lines, and display only the doctor’s name, PM&DC-registered qualifications in recognised abbreviations, and practice timings. Past or present appointments, memberships, or unregistered qualifications should not appear. A simple check against the current PM&DC registration certificate can help prevent avoidable non-conformities during assessment.
