Job ID: 2600002U. The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health runs community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) focusing on research for the betterment of women and child health.

• Qualification: MBBS degree with MCPS / FCPS in Paediatrics, preferably with additional certification and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
• Experience: At least 2 years, preferably in field / community / paediatrics; sound clinical skills and knowledge of care of children in low-income communities
• Responsibilities: Conduct clinics for newborns, under-fives and adolescents at AKU Paediatrics Karachi field sites; lead IMCI and other clinical and research trainings; support SOP development and quality control; teach and assess undergraduate medical students
• Employee status: Contractual
