Paediatric Senior Medical Officer, General Practice Hospital Islamabad

Qualification

  • MBBS with postgraduate training in Paediatric Medicine (FCPS / MCPS / DCH preferred)
  • Valid PMC registration

Experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in Paediatrics
  • Experience in independently managing paediatric OPD, ward patients and emergency cases
  • Experience in neonatal care and stabilization will be an advantage

Key responsibilities

  • Medical care to neonates, infants, children and adolescents
  • Manage paediatric OPD, inpatient wards and emergency cases independently
  • Lead and support junior medical officers and nursing staff
  • Manage and stabilize neonatal and paediatric emergencies, including referrals
  • Accurate documentation, medical records and discharge summaries
  • Follow hospital clinical protocols, patient safety standards and infection control policies
