Edge, which places Pakistani talent with US healthcare providers, is hiring Virtual Medical Assistants to give administrative and care-coordination support to US doctors (full time, onsite, rotating shifts including holidays; city listed as “All Cities”).

Qualification

• MBBS (mandatory)
• Proven experience in the US healthcare system and working with doctors
• Clear, professional English; comfortable with EHR systems and payer portals
• Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information

Duties

• Telehealth appointments, patient messages and EHR documentation
• Lab orders and results, medication refill requests and referrals
• Insurance eligibility and benefits checks; prior authorisations
• Post-visit follow-up and liaison between patients, doctors, labs and pharmacies
