Medical Officer, Head Office Karachi

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), a joint venture between Pakistan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, invites applications for one post of Medical Officer at its Head Office, Karachi. Full time.

Qualification

• MBBS
• MCPS Family Medicine / postgraduate diploma

Experience

• 5 to 8 years of post-MBBS clinical experience in managing common and chronic diseases
• Emergency and industrial trauma management (burns, fractures, head injuries, chemical exposure)
• Occupational health: periodic medical examinations, fitness-for-duty assessments and workplace health surveillance
• Healthcare leadership, supervising multidisciplinary medical teams; cost control and healthcare operations
• Corporate or industrial healthcare experience preferred; strong computer, SAP and communication skills

Job responsibilities

• Medical consultation, diagnosis and treatment of employees and eligible dependants, including OPD and telehealth consultations
• Manage primary emergencies and stabilise patients before referral to panel hospitals
• Coordinate referrals to panel hospitals, laboratories and specialists
• Assist with periodic medical examinations, fitness assessments and occupational health programmes
• Run health awareness and wellness activities and maintain medical records in the Healthcare Management System
