Head of Medical Research and Clinical Quality, Mohsyn (Karachi / Islamabad)

Mohsyn, an elderly-care healthcare provider, is seeking a Head of Medical Research & Clinical Quality, reporting to the CEO. The role will lead what the company describes as South Asia’s first large-scale geriatric research study, manage Mohsyn’s medical team and standardise care protocols. The post is advertised separately for Karachi and Islamabad.

Qualification

• MBBS from a recognised medical institution with relevant professional registration
• Postgraduate qualification in Public Health, Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine or Healthcare Management preferred

Experience

• Significant post-qualification experience in healthcare, clinical leadership, medical research or public health
• Proven record of leading medical teams, clinical programmes or research initiatives
• Knowledge of research methodology, study design, clinical protocols, quality assurance and research ethics

Duties

• Develop and lead a long-term research strategy on geriatrics, ageing, preventive care and chronic disease
• Design and run the large-scale geriatric research programme and its governance
• Build partnerships with national and international institutions
• Lead the medical team and maintain clinical safety and quality standards
