Admission in Diploma and Certificate Programs, Session 2027-2028

Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), Rawalpindi, invites applications from medical graduates for the following programs.

Diploma programs (2 years)

• Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence (DMJ) and Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA): total fee Rs. 150,000
• Diploma in Gynaecology/Obstetrics (DGO), Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) and Diploma in Mental Health: total fee Rs. 200,000
• Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis (DMRD), Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP) and Diploma in Child Health (DCH): total fee Rs. 300,000

Certificate programs (6 months)

• Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE): total fee Rs. 100,000
• Certificate Course in Basic Clinical Sonology: total fee Rs. 100,000

Eligibility (all programs)

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC
• One-year house job certificate
• Valid PMDC registration certificate

How to apply

• Download the application form from the RMU website (admission notice and program forms).
• Submit the completed form by hand or post to the Office of Medical Education, R & D Department, Main Campus, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi, with a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 2,500 in favour of the Vice Chancellor RMU Rawalpindi.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the entrance test/interview.
• In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with an NOC.
• These are level II programs: no stipend is paid by the Government of Punjab, SHC&ME or the University.
