Woman Medical Officer, Shangla (KP)

Normeca International runs the Mobile Multi-Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital project with the Islamic Development Bank and the Government of Pakistan, bringing trailer-based clinics to communities in KP and Sindh. It needs a Woman Medical Officer for Shangla (contract).

• Qualification: MBBS (medical degree from an accredited institution) with a valid licence to practise
• Experience: women’s health and general practice; training in gynaecology is a plus
• English proficiency an advantage

Duties:

• Women’s and children’s health care, check-ups, immunizations and screening
• Basic gynaecological care and family planning counselling
• Patient records, health education, and help in setting up the mobile units
