The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from candidates with Punjab domicile for the following posts on contract basis.

Professor (Medical Education) (BPS-20), 1 post

  • Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical / dental qualification recognized / registered by PM&DC.
  • Postgraduate qualification: Level II-b or Level III postgraduate degree or diploma in Medical Education / Health Professions Education or a related field recognized by PM&DC.
  • Experience: at least 3 years as Associate Professor in the respective subject, or 9 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject.
  • Research: 6 research publications as Associate Professor in the relevant subject; a total of 15 publications in the relevant subject, of which 6 should be from the last three years. Level II-b holders are eligible to become Professor.
  • Age limit: up to 55 years.

Deputy Registrar (BPS-18), 1 post

  • MBBS with 5 years of teaching / administrative experience, or M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from an HEC-recognized university with 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Age limit: up to 55 years.

Deputy Controller of Examinations (BPS-18), 1 post

  • MBBS with 5 years of teaching / administrative experience, or M.A. / M.Sc. / MPA / MBA from an HEC-recognized university with 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Age limit: up to 55 years.

The advertisement also includes Director Quality Enhancement Cell / IQAE (BPS-20), Network Administrator (BPS-17) and Database Administrator (BPS-17), which do not require MBBS.

  • Print the system-generated fee challan and pay the processing fee (BPS-17 and above: Rs. 2,000) through 1Link or any Bank of Punjab branch.
  • Submit the signed printout of the online form with attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational and experience certificates and the paid challan, in person or by courier, to the Office of Human Resource Department, Room # 12, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore.
  • Applicants working in the public sector must apply through proper channel.

  • Only Punjab domiciled candidates can apply.
  • Appointments are on contract basis as per UHS Service Statutes 2005.
  • Preference will be given to experience in a reputable public sector medical university / institution.
  • Only post-qualification experience is counted.
  • Selected candidates can be posted at any campus of the University (City and Jinnah Campus KSK).
  • No TA/DA is admissible.
