Patient Care Coordinator (MBBS, US Healthcare)

Patient Care Coordinator (MBBS required), Edge, Punjab

Edge, which connects Pakistani talent with the US healthcare and insurance industry, needs Patient Care Coordinators to support US healthcare providers. The role is full time and in-office in Punjab.

Requirements

• Qualification: MBBS (mandatory)
• Experience: Prior experience with US healthcare providers/doctors (mandatory); eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience
• Clear, professional English communication and strong customer service skills
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telehealth appointments, patient messages, lab orders and results
• Manage medication refill requests, referrals and post-visit follow-ups
• Eligibility and benefits verification through EHR systems and payer portals
• Initiate and manage prior authorization requests
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation

Work schedule

• 5 days a week (2 days off), schedule rotates every 2 months
• Must be available on holidays except religious holidays
