Research Associate (Section of Dermatology, Department of Medicine), Aga Khan University Karachi

The Aga Khan University invites applications for a Research Associate in the Section of Dermatology, Department of Medicine, Karachi. MBBS graduates are eligible.

Eligibility

• Qualification: MBBS, or MSc in a science subject (preferably Epidemiology or Biostatistics) from a reputable local or international university
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant research experience, preferably including literature search, data collection, data management and manuscript writing
• Good research, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SPSS, EndNote, REDCap and EpiData is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support research projects from protocol development to manuscript submission
• Assist faculty and residents with manuscript and synopsis preparation and submission
• Maintain research databases, publication repositories, protocols and ERC documents
• Support grant and ERC submissions, DRC meetings, workshops and Annual Research Day
• Provide technical support for research software (EndNote, SPSS, plagiarism software)
